Hailing from Budapest, Hungarian DJ and producer Interflug has accumulated a growing following through a series of EPs on Techno Vinyl Records, remixes for MRT2S and Andrush, and a split EP release alongside notable German duo Hardfloor as part of their self-released ‘Versus’ series. Here we see him join DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid label alongside the likes of Green Velvet, Phuture and Louie Vega.

Opening the EP, ‘Think Twins’ sets the tone early with rumbling subs and acid synths, whilst ‘The Thing’ delivers choppy and delayed vocals alongside powerful kicks as crunchy 303 synths cut in.

Next up, ‘Tape Theory’ offers pulsating low ends alongside crisp modulating synths with an array of background effects that build a tense atmosphere, before ‘Tentacles’ rounds out the package with organic percussion and a funky bass line, accompanied by an amalgamation of nimble, wandering synths that bring this upbeat cut to life.
