Boston’s Midnight Society and Brooklyn’s Bass Rokwell deliver a drum-heavy, punchy, and psychedelic single “The Message” to Afro Acid. Timothy Leary’s iconic “Turn on, Tune in, Drop out” is repeated throughout the track over a deep, growling bassline—paying homage to Afro Acid boss DJ Pierre’s Wildpitch genre and the NYC’s beloved late-’90s house music haven The Sound Factory.

Following this is Afro Acid’s own Beyun’s B-Mixx, a menacing and powerfully heady rework of the original, with dramatic builds and driving undercurrent that offer an amped-up alternative to the steady thump of the original.

A groovy, contemporary tech house take on the original, Carlos Fuerte and Manny Cuevas’s Dark Warehouse Mix brings its own mystical vibe to the EP, serving up a sexy, funky deep energy to round out the release.
