Afro Deep welcomes back Swedish artist TWIDDL for his second release with us. A Little Higher rests on a deep groove built around a soulful vocal hook with a dreamy acid lick woven throughout. Label boss DJ Pierre takes the mix through his Wildpitch journey, grounded in a tightly rhythmic percussive cocktail and building elegantly toward a soulful, elevating climax of orchestral strings and uplifting pads. The Wildpitch mix is ethereal and heavenly as it is dark and heavy, carried start to finish by Pierre’s signature thumping kick -- a true masterpiece of contrast.
